Among the great innovations of guidance is the annual celebration of the Prophet's birth (Mawlid un-Nabiyy). This event is commemorated by Muslims all over the world who join together for such rewardable deeds as reciting from the Qur'an, chanting Islamic praises, telling the story of the Prophet's birth, teaching Religious Knowledge, slaughtering animals to feed to the poor, and gathering to thank and praise Allah and ask Him to exalt the honor of Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam...

Bush Walking​

The 5th bankstown ICPA and liverpool Scouts Groups went on a Bush walk with a Bush walking Instructor Frank Barr, from Heath cote to waterfall,

the groups had an amazing time where they had a chance to swim in the waterfall lake.The groups learnt a lot of new skills from Frank Barr on this bush-walk like how to use a compass with a map and how to navigate, they are excited to do it again.

Meet The Chief​

The 5th bankstown ICPA scout Group went down to heathcote scout camp and had the opportunity to meet the new Chief Commissioner Neville Tomkins OAM, JP, and hear his plans for Scouts and participate in a Q&A session. Some of the leaders also had the chance to sit with the Commissioner. 

The immigration of Prophet Muhammad, otherwise known as the Hijrah, was not about running away from being killed, nor was it about fear, or a retreat from bidding the lawful or forbidding the unlawful.

The 5th Bankstown Scouts Group and liverpool Scouts Group experienced an amazing trip to the camp Coutts at the State Environment Activity Camp and learnt new things

Eid Festival - Eid Al-Fitr

The 5th Bankstown Scouts Group and liverpool Scouts Group had a big role in participating in the Sydney Eid Festival where the group had jumping castle,

from different talented leaders. The group had also the opportunity to meet the Chief Commissioner Neville Tomkins OAM, JP.  

Rockclimbing, Bungee Run and other Fun activities for the kids to enjoy on these two beautiful days, the groups also took this Opportunity to sign up new kids interested in Scouts.
