5th Bankstown ICPA Scout Group & Liverpool Scout Group leaders participated in a National Training Course - NYP Upskill New Program on Saturday 13 March and Sunday 14 March 2021 along with other leaders across NSW conducted by Scouts Australia. The course was very informative and with many new programs to be implemented.

On Sunday 7th March 2021 Muslim Scout Groups - 5th Bankstown ICPA and 1st Liverpool -participated in Clean up Australia Day for the Eighteenth year in a row.

The scout leaders taught our members the importance of keeping Australia clean and it is all our responsibility to do so.

Both groups of adult volunteers and youth members removed rubbish including glass pieces, cans, plastic bags, and wood pieces from Paul Keating Park. A popular family area within Bankstown. They also cleaned Brancourt Ave Park in Bankstown, Munro Park Webster Road Lurnea and Lions Park Lurnea.

It’s always a little special to get some positive feedback about how we’re doing. I’m delighted to share a special message from the Chief Scout of NSW, the Governor of NSW, her Excellency the Hon Margaret Beazley.
She and her husband, Mr Dennis Wilson, offer a personal thanks to you all, for the resilience and versatility you’ve demonstrated over the past 50 days, and for the important role you continue to play in our local communities. They explain how proud they are to be connected to such an impressive youth leadership movement, who have continued to deliver programs by transitioning to virtual Scout Halls and Scouting@home adventures across the State.

Our sense of responsibility and feelings regarding the destruction that the fires did to our country Australia and the transformation of green lands and forests into a burnt scenery and dead animals. Muslim Scouts of Australia ... liked to produce a video in collaboration with a few clubs and institutions dedicating it to all fire fighters, abulatic, volunteers, operations rescue workers.
